Damage claim policy

All claims must be emailed to info@goodfurniture.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving your goods.

If you select “Authorized to Leave (ATL)”, please note we cannot accept any claims for damage or loss. Be sure to read and understand the ATL terms and conditions of your courier or freight forwarder before choosing this option.

Before assembling your furniture, please open the box and check all parts and hardware carefully. If you notice any damage or missing items, contact us immediately.

Once assembly has started, we’re unable to accept claims for damage or missing parts. Damaged parts must not show any signs of installation.

If you plan to assemble your furniture later, please open and inspect all packages within 2 days of delivery. According to carrier policies, they will not accept claims for damage or loss more than 7 days after proof of delivery (POD). This gives us enough time to help you with your claim.

Please remember: IKEA products are flat-packed and most require assembly. Improper installation can cause damage. If you’re unsure, read the instructions carefully or watch assembly videos on YouTube before starting.
